REVALUATION OF ALL REAL PROPERTY

1. PROPOSALS: Sealed proposals for the following: REVALUATION OF ALL REAL PROPERTY for the Township of Winslow will be received at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 25, 2010 at which time proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud at the, Municipal Building, located at The Dominic Maiese Municipal Complex, 125 South Route #73, Braddock, New Jersey. Proposals will not be accepted after the specified time. Proposals must be on the official proposal form which can be obtained from the Municipal Clerk, Mayor Dominic Maiese Municipal Complex, 125 South Route #73, Braddock, New Jersey, 08037. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to the Municipal Clerk, Municipal Building, Mayor Dominic Maiese Municipal Complex, 125 South Route #73, Braddock, New Jersey 08037 and identified as “RFP – Revaluation of All Real Property”.
Specifications provide for receipt of proposals by mail. Those proposals which are mailed to the contracting unit shall be sealed, properly marked and shall only be opened for examination at such time and place as all proposals received are unsealed and announced.
The Township Committee and its Solicitor will be the sole discretionary body for consideration or rejection of the proposals. The Township Committee will award the contract based on most advantageous price and other factors considered. The Township is using the competitive contract process.
2. SPECIFICATIONS: Specification and Form of Proposal for “Revaluation Of All Real Property” can be obtained from the Municipal Clerk, Township of Winslow, The Dominic Maiese Municipal Complex, 125 South Route #73, Braddock, New Jersey, 08037.
3. AFFIRMATIVE ACTION REGULATIONS: Respondants are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq.

Alterations and Renovations to Existing Facilities

The Township of Winslow will receive sealed bids for Alterations and Renovations to Existing Facilities Winslow Township Police Department until 2:00 p.m. prevailing time on March 30, 2010, at the Winslow Township Municipal Building, 125 South Route 73, Braddock, New Jersey. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time. All bidders and the public are welcome to be in attendance. Specifications provide for receipt of bids by mail. Those bids which are mailed to the contracting unit shall be sealed properly marked and shall only be opened for examination at such time and place as all bids received are unsealed and announced. Owner assumes no responsibility for bids mailed out but not received.
A pre-bid conference will be held at this project site on March16, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. prevailing time. interested parties are invited to attend. Failure of any bidder to attend the pre-bid meeting shall not exempt that contractor from fulfilling all the terms of this contract.
Work will include: Interior renovations including demolition, new partitions and interior finishes, duct work, electrical, data and telephone wiring.
Contract documents, including Technical Specifications may be examined at the Winslow Township Clerk’s office 125 South Route 73, Braddock, N.J. and available at the office of Harry S. Harper Architect, Inc., 154 New Jersey Avenue, Absecon, N.J. 08201, (609) 645-7566, during normal business hours. A non refundable check in the amount of $125.00 made payable to the Architect is required. All plans must be picked up in person and checks must be received prior to issuance of specifications and drawings. Plans and specifications will not be mailed. Addenda, if any, will be issued only to those persons whose name and address are on record with the owner as having obtained the Contract Documents.
Written questions concerning the bid documents will be accepted up until March19, 2010. Questions must be faxed to Harry S. Harper Architect, Inc., 154 New Jersey Avenue, Absecon, N.J. 08201 using fax number (609) 645-2477. Responses will be issued in writing by March 23, 2010. The Architects office does not take any responsibility for the receiving of any submitted information. It is entirely the responsibility of the Contractor to assure that their information is properly submitted. Questions pertaining to the specifications and/or plans asked after the pre-bid meeting may or may not be addressed, depending on available time and/or importance of the question.
Bids will be received for Total Overall Construction to include General Construction, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning, Electrical and all other work required for completion.
Bidders must comply with P.L. 1975, c. 127, N.J.A.C. 17.27 and N.J.S.A. 10:5-31(Mandatory Affirmative Action Requirements.
