Q. What holidays effect the trash collection schedule? A. There are six holidays a year that may effect your trash collection schedule; New Years Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. If your trash collection day is on or follows any of the above holidays your trash will be collected a day late. Q. How can I get a recycling bucket? A. A recycling bucket can be picked up at the Winslow Township Public Works office, 125 South Route 73, Braddock, NJ 08037-9422 Monday thru Friday between the hours of 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. One bucket per home shall be issued. Proof of residency is required. Q. Is there somewhere I can take my trash if I forget to put it out? A. Yes, you can bring your trash, recyclabes, yard waste, etc. to the Public Works yard located at 125 South Route 73, Braddock, NJ 08037, Monday thru Friday 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM and Saturday 7:00 AM - 11:30 AM. Effective January 1, 2007 this facility will no longer accept construction and or demolition waste under any circumstances. Construction and demolition waste consists of but is not limited to the following: 1. Building Materials 2. Rubble resulting from construction: such as remodeling, repair, or demolition operations on all types of structures. 3. Concrete and or pavement materials 4. Discarded automobile parts, discarded truck and trailer parts 5. Junk and debris from the property as a result of clean up. 6. No Contractors, regardless of residency under any circumstance. 7. Propane cylinders in excess of 20 lbs. will not be accepted. Only residential household waste as defined by the Department of Environmental Protection delivered by a bona fide resident will be accepted. In addition proof of residency as well as signing the registry is required. Anyone found in violation of this policy will be prosecuted to the fullest extent allowed by law.
