SCHOOL TRAFFIC GUARD / TEMPORARY PART-TIME TOWNSHIP OF WINSLOW – POLICE DEPARTMENT

WINSLOW TOWNSHIP seeks a temporary part-time School Traffic Guard in our Police Department.  Under direction, regulates and directs the movement of school children at a street intersection, paying particular attention to their safety, works well with the public, and other related duties. Must be a resident of Winslow Township and have a valid driver’s license in New Jersey.  Employment is contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory background check.  Salary:  $16.35 per hour, ten-month position, Monday through Friday, start time 8:45 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. then 3:15 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. – 7 ½ hours per week.  If the position moves to permanent part-time, 6 months after that date vacation and sick time will start to accrue. Employee not paid for school holidays/breaks or Winslow Township holidays.  There will be a 90 day working test period after permanent status.
