NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A CONTRACT UNDER A NATIONAL COOPERATIVE PURCHASING AGREEMENT

Notice is hereby given that the Township of Winslow intends to participate in and make purchases under a National Cooperative Purchasing Agreement in accordance with N.J.S.A. 52:34-6.2 and the guidance issued by the New Jersey Division of Local Government Services in Local Finance Notice 2012-10.

The Township intends to award contracts for the purchase of products and services available through the following National Cooperative Purchasing Agreement:

The Township of Winslow has determined that participation in this National Cooperative Purchasing Agreement is expected to result in cost savings and procurement efficiencies after consideration of price, quality, administrative costs, delivery, service, and other relevant factors.

The Township Committee expects to consider a Resolution authorizing participation in this National Cooperative Purchasing Agreement at a public meeting to be held on:

Information regarding the proposed contract, including the cooperative contract documentation and supporting materials, is available for public inspection during normal business hours in the Office of the Qualified Purchasing Agent, Township of Winslow Municipal Building, 125 South Route 73, Braddock, New Jersey 08037.

Interested parties may submit written comments regarding the Township's proposed participation in the National Cooperative Purchasing Agreement. Written comments must be received by the Qualified Purchasing Agent no later than 10 calendar days from the date of publication of this Notice.

Following the public comment period, the Township Committee may consider adoption of a Resolution authorizing purchases under the National Cooperative Purchasing Agreement if it determines such participation to be in the best interest of the Township.
